Mrisho Ngasa:
Where do you begin to explain Ngasa’s form this year? He is the
leading goal scorer in the CAF Champions league with 6 strikes, and has
been in electrifying form in the league last season, scoring two league
hat tricks.
He leads with national team caps as well as leading with goal assists
on the national team; Ngasa’s only strike also helped Tanzania win
against the then AFCON defending champions Zambia 1-0, a win which
helped Taifa Stars climb on the FIFA ranks.
His goal scoring form helped Taifa Stars reach the semi finals of the
CECAFA Challenge Cup, after scoring twice against Uganda in the quarter
 finals.
Salum Abubakar:
The Azam and Taifa Stars attacking midfielder and the Vodacom Premier
League October player of the month has been in electrifying form this
year.
The midfielder whose form has made Edibily Lunyamila, the Yanga and
Taifa Stars legend to affirm that “Salum Abubakar is a gift from God to
Tanzanian’s and Tanzanian’s should use it well so as they can benefit’.
Salum who is defensive minded and has phenomenal passing skills, makes everything he does on the football pitch look easy.
Salum Abubakar helped Azam to their first league crown in the
2013-2014 season having played for Azam since it was on the lower
leagues; Salum has played all big matches for Taifa Stars a fate that
shows how highly Mart Nooij thinks of him.
Thomas Ulimwengu:
The TP Mazembe and Taifa Stars player has been very influential this year.
The young striker has potential and has been of great help to both
club and country in 2014, his attributes includes strength and skill on
the ball with an ability to be an aerial threat.
His Goals helped Taifa Stars reach the second round of the AFCON

Swaziland in Mbabane, and he also leads the pack with most assists.
The youngster has been a major source of inspiration for his national
team-mates. He has been immense for Taifa Stars throughout the year.
Jonas Mkude:
The midfielder has been in great form this season a fate that saw
Yanga and Azam try to snatch him from Simba, that did not materialize
however as Simba offered him a new deal worth a mouth watering 60
million shillings as well as a sports car.
Mkude's form has seen him move above Piere Kwizera in the pecking
order with sources inside the club suggesting the Burundian could be
shown the door by the club.
Mkude has great ability in long range goals a characteristic that has
seen his team mates provide him with passes when at the edge of the box
so as he can have a go at it and he has scored many goals this year.
